PROCLAMATION
Automotive Heritage Month

WHEREAS the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada has designated July 2018 as “Automotive Heritage Month” to publicly recognize the influence automotive hobbyists have in encouraging the preservation and conservation of automobiles in our country; and

WHEREAS Nova Scotia has a history of automobile production and innovation and recognizes the importance of automotive development to the provincial highway system that provides access to our communities; and

WHEREAS Nova Scotia has various automobile clubs dedicated to automotive hobbies and welcomes many who visit to attend antique automotive tours and to explore our automotive heritage;

THEREFORE I, Stephen McNeil, Premier of Nova Scotia, do hereby proclaim the month of July, 2018 to be “Automotive Heritage Month” in the Province of Nova Scotia.
