I want to extend warm greetings to all members of the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada as they gather to celebrate Automotive Heritage Month.

Preserving rare and classic cars not only brings enjoyment to its enthusiasts, but also offers a tremendous opportunity to learn more about the history of the automobile, the evolution of its engineering and the inventive minds that have propelled the industry forward. This community of dedicated hobbyists also helps stimulate local business, promote tourism, raise money for worthy causes, and create a vibrant local scene in communities across our nation.

I want to congratulate the members of the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada on the occasion of this special month devoted to their interests. As Premier of Ontario, I am proud to recognize that much of our automotive heritage finds its roots in Southern Ontario – reflecting the pioneering know-how that has remained one of our strengths.
