ELIZABETH THE SECOND, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom, Canada and Her other Realms and Territories, Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith
To all to whom these presents shall come – Greeting
WHEREAS the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada (NAACC) is a national non-profit organization that advocates for automotive heritage and automobile clubs by promoting and encouraging the preservation of automobiles and their history and heritage, and
WHEREAS fostering an appreciation of automotive heritage leaves a legacy of understanding and enjoyment for future generations, and
WHEREAS recognition of and respect for automotive enthusiasts encourages richer encounters between automotive enthusiasts in British Columbia, across the country and worldwide, and
WHEREAS July 9, 2021, marks the 12th consecutive commemoration of International Collector Car Appreciation Day, an annual event led by the SEMA Action Network (SEMA) and the NAACC to raise awareness of the vital role that automotive restoration and heritage plays in North American society, including in British Columbia, and
WHEREAS Automotive Heritage Month is an opportunity to publicly recognize present and past contributions of the NAACC and all automotive hobbyists in British Columbia and across the country;
NOW KNOW YE THAT We do by these presents proclaim and declare that July 2021 shall be known as
“Automotive Heritage Month”
in the Province of British Columbia.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, We have caused these Our Letters to be made Patent and the Great Seal of Our Province of British Columbia to be hereunto affixed.
