PROCLAMATION
Automotive Heritage Month

WHEREAS the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada (NAACC) has designated July as “Automotive Heritage Month” in recognition of the contributions of automotive hobbyists to the economic and cultural life of Nova Scotia and Canada; and

WHEREAS Nova Scotia has a history of automobile production and innovation and recognizes the importance of promoting and encouraging the preservation of the automobile, its historic lore and its associated items; and

WHEREAS Nova Scotia has many automobile clubs and tours for automotive hobbyists and welcomes many who visit part of antique auto tours and who come to explore our automotive heritage.

THEREFORE I, Tim Houston, Premier of Nova Scotia, do hereby proclaim July 2022 to be “Automotive Heritage Month” in the Province of Nova Scotia.
