DECLARATION OF
Automotive Heritage Month
July 2022

WHEREAS the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada (NAACC) is promoting the month of July as “Automotive Heritage Month”; and

WHEREAS the NAACC will be celebrating “Collector Car Appreciation Day” on July 8th, 2022; and

WHEREAS the NAACC strives to restore and preserve Canada’s rich history and heritage; and

WHEREAS automotive heritage has broad appeal that embraces both automobile enthusiasts and the general public; and

WHEREAS automotive enthusiasts and hobbyists share their appreciation of the hobby while contributing to our communities and raising funds for worthy charities.

THEREFORE, I, James Aylward, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure for the Province of Prince Edward Island, do hereby proclaim that the month of July, 2022, shall be known as

“Automotive Heritage Month”
and July 8th, 2022, shall be known as

“Collector Car Appreciation Day”
in the Province of Prince Edward Island
