These photos are from the 18th annual “Kars under the K” held in Keremeos, BC on August 4th. Approx. 130 entries, Four classes were won by NAACC members, Don Smith with his 1931 Ford Model A Deluxe Coupe, Mike Klaus with his 1931 Jeep, Doug Guttridge with his 1956 Ford Victoria 2DR HT and Morley McDonald with his 1950 Ford F1.

South Okanagan Chapter Kars Under the K Aug 4th 2019

Kars Under the K car show in Keremeos took place on August 4. Several of our members came to see show their vehicles and some came just to see the show. True to its reputation it was another very hot day! The good news is that there was no smoke in the air this year and there were cars there that we had not seen before. The swimming pool was a free for all and new this year is that the parking attendants were using swimming pool noodles to help show us where to park the cars. Never seen that before, too funny.
Don Smith, Morley McDonald, Mike Klaus, Doug Guttridge, congratulations to you! There were lots of spot prizes for local goodies but the highlight for many of our club members was the barbeque burgers at Jaime and Eniel Pacheco’s back yard lunch. Thank you for hosting that, I think I counted 20 members that attended and it was deeeeeelicious.
